I think that the concept of being able to test conductors and insulators was important. It just seems like a good, safe, idea to know what types of materials can conduct electricity and what type of materials insulate electricity.
Tell us what you think is the most important concept, or idea, that you learned about magnetism.
I thinkt the most important one for myself is that you can actually turn magnetism on and off. I would not have thought that it was possible until we did the electromagnet lesson. We actually used a battery and wire to tuen magnetism on and off again. Pretty cool.
